“There are countless albums out there that may catch your attention, but only a select few have the power to truly resonate with your heart and soul. With the written words from the pen of Rick Lang on the “Blue Color Gospel” album, Rick has created an album that serves as a gentle reminder of one’s faith and the blessings that grace your everyday life. “

As a Bluegrass/Gospel DJ, I just have to tell you about one of the greatest album projects out there today “Bluegrass Collar Gospel” From The Pen of Rick Lang.  Billy Blue Records, with producer Jerry Salley, has done it again.  This album follows Rick’s Grammy nominated album “Gonna Sing Gonna Shout”.  This new all-gospel album has Rick shining brightly with his great compositions, selected co-writers, and then teaming up with some of the top vocalists in Bluegrass.  “Blue Collar Gospel” offers a style of Gospel songs relating to ordinary people and their faith in God.  The lead single, ‘Just Beyond,’ featuring Barry Abernathy, John Meador, Tim Raybon, and Bradley Walker hit the Mountain Bluegrass Top 12 chart just a few days after the album’s release.  The following week it soared into the #1 spot where it stayed for six straight weeks.  It is still on the chart along with the albums’ title song, ‘Blue Collar Gospel,’ featuring Jerry Salley and The Oak Ridge Boys (#4), and a Rick Lang /Becky Buller composed song, ‘On The Tips of Angels’ Wings,’ featuring Alecia Nugent, Ben James, and Jerry Salley, a song that now holds the #1 spot.  Friends, it will only get better.  Every song on this album has the potential to be a #1 song.  This Bluegrass/Gospel DJ thinks it has Grammy award written all over it.  Be sure to get your copy of this inspiring album today.

Anytime you have this much talent singing great Gospel music, you’ve got a hit. It’s an album full of faith, hope, and love!!! To top it off, the single, “Just Beyond” may be one of the finest ever recorded. Not only is it destined to top the charts and win awards, it’ll make you cry and shout for joy. It is a true Blue Collar Gospel  Masterpiece!!!

“On The Tips Of Angels Wings” is definitely one of the best tracks on the Rick Lang album, ‘Blue Collar Gospel.’   There is not a bad song on this project and I firmly believe it will be Grammy nominated.  So, Alecia Nugent, you took this song to the next level and beyond.  It’s out of this world!  So happy for you, Ben James, Jerry Salley, and two of the best songwriters in our business, Becky Buller and Rick Lang.

Rick Lang’s Blue Collar Gospel evokes memories of country churches with dinner on the ground after services. These songs speak not to the sanctimonious but to ordinary folks living day by day depending on grace. Performed by some of the best-loved voices in bluegrass, this follow-up to Lang’s Grammy-nominated Gonna Sing, Gonna Shout combines the best of bluegrass and gospel.
